Trees are amazing, and I have thought this since I was swinging in the branches of one when I was just a little girl. Now, that I am older, I see a lot more than just a recreation opportunity when I look at a tree – I see a boost to home values, a deterrent to soil erosion, an oxygen maker and a piece of history. Sadly, many people often overlook these characteristics of trees, or they simply do not know the best way to care for and protect trees. To help protect trees anyway that I can, I have created this blog. In it, I am going to include a range of facts and ideas on maintaining, healing and trimming historic trees.
